Sheep Shank

After hoisting a sail you are usually left with metres and metres of rope floating around inside your boat. The sheep shank is an ideal knot to tidy all the off.

Instructions for tying a Sheep Shank:-

Firstly coil up the halyard so that it is tidy

Then tie a half clove hitch around the top

Finally add another half clove hitch around the bottom
